The Kit Jarosz and the Rick Morrison Awards were given at the Ontario Elite Championships in Cambridge on March 7, 2026.
The Kit Jarosz and Rick Morrison annual awards each recognize the fastest 500m short track time raced by a female and male skater in an SSO sanctioned competition in Ontario skated on the 111m track. The recipient must race at the Ontario Elite Championships to be eligible.
This year’s recipients are Jianing Wang – 13 year old female and Ryan Chen – 14 year old male from the Oakville Speed Skating Club.
