Brampton – Saturday, November 12, 2022
This was the second Provincial Series Competition of the Season. Oakville had 38 members Register for this Competition. Far more than other Ontario Clubs. Six of these skaters was their first time attending a Competition.
6 Medals were brought home by Oakville Skaters. All our Skaters tried hard, and many Personal Best Times were achieved. Well Done!

Cambridge – Saturday and Sunday November 5 & 6
All of Oakville’s 13 Members who participated in the Time Trials have qualified to participate in the Elite Circuit Competitions. Again far more than any other Club in Ontario:

3 Oakville Members sweep the top Open A Men Division: Helios H. – Gold, Marcelo G. – Silver and Charlie C. – Bronze.
Izabella Z. won Gold in the Open A Women’s Division.
Canadian Junior Short Track Open
Calgary – Saturday and Sunday, November 12 & 13, 2022
There were two Divisions for the Canadian Junior Short Track Open Ages 14-15 and Ages 16-18.
Congratulations to Claira E., Dora S. and Sofia Q. who qualified to compete in the 14-15 Group. Well done ladies!!!
The Open Ages 16-18 was a qualification competition to determine participation in the Canadian Junior Short Track Championship being held in Sherbrooke, QC on November 25-27, 2022.
We had 5 Oakville Members who qualified to participate in the Open. Congratulations to Izabella Z., Camryn R. (Open Female Group), Helios H., Charlie C., Marcelo G. – Marcelo is only 15 but his times allowed him to race in the older division. Also, alumni member Connor W. who is attending University in Calgary also qualified for this Competition.
Congratulations to Izabella, Helios and Connor who qualified to participate in the Canadian Junior Short Track Championship.
